What’s Cooking in Your Soul?

Dr. Carol S. Batey joins Yvonne Perry on We Are One in Spirit today.  She will be discussing her new book, What’s Cooking in Your Soul?.

Carol Batey, author, metaphysical minister and lifestyle coach, is the mother of six children and the author of numerous magazine and newspaper articles. She is also the author of six published books.  Carol is committed to spreading information about how one can improve and renew the purpose of one’s soul by providing coaching workshops and speaking at seminars for anyone who wants to step into their destiny. Carol is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Metaphysics, at the University of Metaphysics at the University of Sedona.

Below is a list of the books Carol has written. She briefly discusses each one during our interview. Part one of this 3-in-1 interview gives background on Carol's story of how at age 50 she overcame fibromyalgia, lost from a size 14 to a size 4 and became a model!

Published in 1996 by Corwin Press, Parents Are Lifesavers is still available as a manual to help get parents involved in their children's schools.

Carol's second book, Poise for the Runway of Your Life, was written when she was pursuing her dream of becoming a model. At age 50, she reached this goal and shares how she did it.

In Due Season: Destiny Is Calling Your Soul Many have asked how to identify the purpose of their journey. They have asked how to make time to accomplish their purpose and where the money will come from. To uncover your personal transformation, you first start with a desire to create. Next, a spiritual practice of meditating, fasting and prayer, journaling, being still and listening, and physical exercising and proper nutrients will help transfrom your path.

What's Cooking in Your Soul? Within this passionate book are life lessons: stories about the author, her children, and others. These are everyday life situations and challenges. Her children experienced drug addictions, tribulations, rebellions, and triumphs. This book will provide you, the reader, with a fresh, positive perspective on how to move forward in your life and mix yourself a new future. Take a bowl and spoon. Stir in your favorite ingredients. Allow them to rise and use the oven of your soul to bake the ingredients with healing, insight, empowerment, inspiration, grace, ease, abundance, prosperity, health, happiness, and success.
