According to Dr. Eric Pearl, anger is a response mechanism that is triggered when we don’t want to feel the hurt that comes from being afraid. You don’t want to manage anger; you want to erase it by feeling the hurt of the situation and recognizing that you are reacting to fear.
Fear is the absence of love the same way that darkness is the absence of light. Step into the light in the face of fear. Be courageous enough to admit that you are afraid of something and then do whatever scares you anyway.
