There is No Such Thing As Good Judgment

On this show we will learn that there is no such thing as “good” judgment. Total acceptance of others will be our thought for today. The music on this audio is a song titled "Court Intercession."

We call the court to order when we see a brother doing wrong
We set up heavy standards to make him belong
He’s doing what comes naturally, we can’t see his heart
God works on the inside and meets us where we are
So if we stand in judgment, we get what we give
Who will rule in our favor when the pain comes home to live?
Let’s call for court intercession

Court intercession
Praying for our brother, forgiving all his deeds
Court intercession
See a soul who’s hurting. Look past his faults
Take the black robe off
Present your case to God
Court intercession

We stand here with chalk in hand
Ready to draw the line
We see our brother stumble
We say “He’s no friend of mine!”
He doesn’t need a lawyer, a jury, or a judge
He needs our arms around him
Someone to show him love
We’re in the business of healing souls and binding wounds
Let’s think before we cast a stone,
We may be hurting too

Court Intercession
Praying for our brother, forgiving all his deeds
Court intercession
See a soul who’s hurting. Look past his faults
Take the black robe off
Present your case to God
Court intercession

Christ through His mercy intercedes now for us
Thank Him for his grace that never gives up
I’m glad Jesus came and announced “Case dismissed!”
There is no guilty verdict
He declares us innocent
That’s why there’s . . .

Court Intercession
Praying for our brother, forgiving all his deeds
Court intercession
See a soul who’s hurting. Look past his faults
Take the black robe off
Present your case to God
Court intercession
